‘Tis the season to transform your living space into a festive wonderland, and what better place to start than your trusty coffee table?
I have a small coffee table and I’ve been all over Pinterest, TikTok and Instagram for ideas!
Over at our home, I ended up storing all our scarves (and mitts to boot) in a freakin’ reusable Toys R Us bags.
I then stored them in the entryway closet and everything was fine….until it wasn’t fine.
Over the years, I’ve become somewhat of a cleaning expert (thanks, kids!) and have tried just about every cleaning product under the sun to get my first apartment and then my home spic and span clean.
From tackling tough grime in the bathrooms to removing pesky stains on the carpet, I’ve learned which products are worth the hype and which ones just don’t cut it.
Laundry day waits for no one.
If you’re a busy person living in an apartment with no washer and dryer hookups, you may feel like you’re completely out of luck.
This was exactly my story when I was living in my first apartment.
When I was growing up, my Danish dad incorporated his Scandinavian traditions in Hygge, opening presents on Christmas Eve, and making wonderful Julehjerter (hearts from paper) for the Christmas tree.
I loved it so much that I’m all about the Scandinavian decor ideas.
My house has a fireplace, and the last thing I want after a day of working is having to go outside to a pile of wood in the backyard with my jacket and boots on to get what I want for a cozy fire in my fireplace.
I mean, who has time to put on all those layers, go outside and haul in some wood just for a cozy fire? Not me, no way.
I’m in the process of renovating our home and I need something on my walls besides my blankets!
That’s when I found out about floating shelves as the way to go.
Whether you’re into a sleek, modern look or a rustic, cozy vibe, these shelves can seamlessly complement any decor style.
Whenever I can, I always take a look on Instagram or Pinterest new ways to decorate my home office.
And right now, it’s all about that rustic look.
Bring on the rustic office decor RIGHT NOW!
When I moved into my home I wanted all the walls white.
And my husband obliged.
After two years living in this home, I still love the way it looks with our new flooring and home decor.
