Last night, I was making my famous spaghetti and meatball dish and guess what?
The chopping boards for cutting onions and garlic and all the pots and pans to make homemade sauce got all dumped in the sink.

Where I live, when it’s not summer, it’s snowing.
Snow, snow, snow!
And while I love the crisp blue skies and bright glittery snow from my window, I miss greenery!
The green vines, green leaves and cute little green plants that thrive in the summer.
Look –
I’m NOT a Type A person.
My brain doesn’t look at a shelf and immediately think about how to organize it.
Is that you?
Let me guess –
Your closets, entryway, garage and even your kitchen is busting with clutter.
You’re scrap-piling and stacking up your stuff in any space you can find and you’re fed up.
When you live in an apartment, you don’t have a whole lot of space, right?
It’s your very first apartment and a studio or 1-bedroom is just enough for you.
Are you just settling into your brand-new apartment?
Just because they’re called HOUSE warming parties doesn’t mean that you can’t celebrate your new digs!
You want to shout at the top of your lungs that you did it!
Raise your hand if your apartment is over stuffed with blankets, shoes, purses and makeup?
When you move into your first apartment it seems like a dream, doesn’t it?
So, whenever I go down the cleaning isle, I don’t know about you, but most of the smells that emerge are gross, yucky and just not pretty.
Why would I want to make my entire apartment smell like a car air freshener or the sterile smell of a doctor’s office?
Nope, nada, not me!
So, the other day I was on Pinterest (yes, I needed a break from TikTok!) and guess what kept poppin’ in my feed?
Ultra cute bar carts!
OMG!
I don’t know about you but when the weather slightly gets warmer (or there are more days with sunshine) I can’t help but become this declutter and organizing queen!
Downsize, throw away and repurpose!
Whether you do this as part of your spring cleaning efforts or just have an itch you need to scratch, when you move into your first apartment, it’s hard to organize.
