I don’t know about you but whenever I do a load of laundry guess what happens?
I end up washing a big pile of clothes and when I go and put everything away, I seem to never have enough room for my socks.

Last week I was waiting for an appointment and decided to fill my time watching some Tik Tok videos when my purse fell and absolutely EVERYTHING dumped.
I mean, lipstick, compact, gum, sunglasses and more.
Last night, I was making my famous spaghetti and meatball dish and guess what?
The chopping boards for cutting onions and garlic and all the pots and pans to make homemade sauce got all dumped in the sink.
Look –
I’m NOT a Type A person.
My brain doesn’t look at a shelf and immediately think about how to organize it.
Is that you?
Let me guess –
Your closets, entryway, garage and even your kitchen is busting with clutter.
You’re scrap-piling and stacking up your stuff in any space you can find and you’re fed up.
When you live in an apartment, you don’t have a whole lot of space, right?
It’s your very first apartment and a studio or 1-bedroom is just enough for you.
I don’t know about you but when the weather slightly gets warmer (or there are more days with sunshine) I can’t help but become this declutter and organizing queen!
Downsize, throw away and repurpose!
Whether you do this as part of your spring cleaning efforts or just have an itch you need to scratch, when you move into your first apartment, it’s hard to organize.
Did you know that the kitchen (along with the garage and home office) are the MOST cluttered areas of the home, according to a MOEN survey?
Wow!
Ya’ don’t need to tell me twice!
OMG! The time is here!
Fall and the cool weather is coming and that means it’s getting cold, cold cold.
And you know what that ALSO means?
Blankets are going to flood your tiny place! Oh no!
Did you know that there are actual health benefits when we declutter?
I know, right?
According to this article from Utah State University, decluttering your immediate space (like your home or office), helps relieve anxiety and even energizes you!
